Overmantels

Collinswood also offers Overmantel designs with each surround style. The overmantel repeats the leg and crown detail to form a beautiful frame for mirrors or pictures. They can be purchased to accommodate various ceiling heights.

Cabinet Surrounds

Some modern fireplaces fo not require traditional vertical chimney pipe and therfore can be positioned in non-traditionlal ways. "Direct vent" fireplaces can be vented horizontally from the rear of the firebox directly through an exterior wall. A "ventless" fireplace requires no venting at all.
